What do Triathletes Say? And My GREEN Smoothie!

This is HILARIOUS!  Maybe you have already seen this, even if you should watch it again...but only if you like to laugh!

Do you like SMOOTHIES?  I do...

Lately I have been making Green Smoothies and they are the best I have ever made! Yum! Who knew putting Peanut Butter in your smoothie could be a major GAME CHANGER?

And because I love food pictures...I thought I would share my smoothie pictures!  And tell you what I use to create this yum-o-licious smoothie!

Sorry, clearly I have a lot to learn in my food photography!  

Do you have a pen?  You probably want to write this down?  No...ok...well then don't!
  • 2 Cups Almond milk (I like to use Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk) 
  • 1 Cup of Spinach
  • 1-2 Scoops of Whey Protein
  • 1-1/2 Banana
  • 1/2-1 Cup Frozen Strawberry or blueberries
  • Scoop of Peanut Butter

I don't measure anything out, Yah I like to live on the EDGE... I just put in what I feel like for the day.  The combo is great and it's been a nice treat to have after I workout!  Very filling and a great way to get my Greens in!

Bahhaaa, my plan is working perfectly...

I realized I have barely written about what I have been doing as far as workouts and training goes and seeing that this blog is about running and triathlons...I thought I should be documenting some of those activities.  I really want to talk to you about my workouts and rest days and I have been meaning to tell you about my POSTAL swim!  Funny name...I know, I will explain!  Also I'm putting my review together for my awesome H20 Audio Interval Waterproof is the best thing since sliced bread and I think you might want one yourself!  But wait there's more...Well there will be!  Geez I have a lot more to talk about!

I LOVE green smoothies!!! I love too that my daughter loves them too. She's such a picky eater and this is the best way for me to get all the veggies in for her! Around Christmas time she called it her elf juice!

I never thought I would say this but I do love me a good green smoothie. I will definitely have to try your super secret recipe! I don't know why but it never occurs to me to put peanut butter in the mix. Must try this weekend

Love, love peanut butter! I eat it daily. mostly just a spoonful scoop a day or on bread with honey and banana's.

smoothies are good. i like mine with mango's though.

love the pix of the kiddo's. whatever way you can them to eat healthy!! keep smilin'!

Those smoothies are the BEST. A friend clued me into putting spinach in the mix a few years ago andit was the greatest tip EVER!

Be sure you use frozen bananas....try that next time and notice the consistency difference. It is YUMMY!

I make a smoothie every morning before work...I add in VEGA whole food health's so healthy...

I use the same ingredients but also add sometimes
a dallop of sweet potato,
flax oil,
greek yogurt
frozen peas, name it!
