I had a GREAT run with Jamie yesterday and can't believe that I forgot to take a picture afterwards. Too hard to remember when all your thinking about is getting you kid strapped in and finding a G2. It was a fun (HOT) run of 8 miles and we got to catch up on all things running. We talked about how we used to be so nervous to run with people, but we find it so enjoyable now. I have to say that running with someone and talking can slow you down a bit, plus just coming off a marathon, I am a bit slower at the moment, but I would take running with someone and chatting it up anytime over a solo killer pace run. Thank you Jamie for letting me go my pace and spending 8 miles with me. So fun getting to know a friend over a run. I am really looking forward to more runs with friends now that my marathon. I'm also excited to watch Jamie go after her marathon dreams and hope to do some training runs with her as she gets into the long runs.
Since we didn't get a picture, here is one from the 4h of July!

Yay! Congrats!
It is nice to run with someone. I'm looking into running clubs around this area but there aren't too many that I can find.
I just lost a follower. What's that about? How can they resist us?
Is it bad if I TOTALLY want to run on Ruston with you next time I am in T-Town? I get so lonely by myself all the time. :(
I know, it's strange when your followers go up and down and up and down. People do a cleansing of the list of blogs they follow I guess. ;)
I recently did some blog housecleaning. Its just too hard to keep up with them ALL. So I stuck to my top 20 favorite bloggers - and you definitely made the lineup.
congrats to 100 followers and 8 great miles.
Yay for Marathon running friends! I'm missing my long Sunday run with my running buddy.
... ahhhh the London Marathon, the start of my awesome "run a marathon" journey - long story short, I haven't run it, a certain Iceland Volcanoe stopped us from getting there - I ran the Rotorua (a biggish by NZ standards)marathon instead as it was thankfully just a week after London would have been. Looks like it will happen next year though, all going well!
I love running with other people, but still get nervous when I run with someone new.
What kind of crazy person would get tired of your awesomeness?! Anyway, congrats on 100 (101 now)!
Running with company is THE BEST!
