I love where I live!

Can you see this picture?  If you can...isn't it beautiful?  I live here and durinng my run I realized how lucky I am to live here.  Now keep in mind that it was a BEAUTIFUL day here in the Pacific Northwest and you better believe everyone was LIVING it up!  It was a great day for a run and I'm so glad I took advantage of the day instead of going to the gym.  I had no idea how far I would go or what direction...but it all worked out better than expected.  I wanted to enjoy the sites so I headed where I could do that!  On my way I saw my hairdresser who is also my friend...FUN and an EAGLE...flew by, closer than I had ever experienced!

Let's get this PARTY started!

And we are starting out...here we go!

The run went down first...perfect, then up then back down.  It was a perfect route because it allowed me to warm-up in the beginning, have some challenging hills that lasted about 2 miles and then the last bit was down-hill which is always WONDERFUL!

Much needed solo run.  Got to listen to my music, stop and take some pictures, enjoy the sites and it also made me so thankful for where I live.  It's so pretty.  This was by far the most scenic route I have ever run in my neighborhood and I think I will do it a lot more.  You never know where your run will take you, but I'm always grateful when it takes me some where NEW!

And we're DONE!  See how sunny it was...oh look...my shadow...I haven't seen it in a WHILE!

Beautiful! I live and run in So. Cal and there are times I have to stop and remind myself how blessed I am to run in such a pretty place! And...with that headband, you don't even look old enough to have kids! Must be the post-run glow and smile :)

It was a gorgeous day yesterday (except for the freak rain storm we got near Fort Lewis in the afternoon). I took advantage as well and ran a nice half marathon in the sunshine.

I could write this post. I love where I live too but recently when someone asked me where I would live if I didn't live where I am I said the Pacific Northwest. I also had a solo run today - caught up on some podcasts, stopped for lots of pics, enjoyed the day!

Rachel~ Brown's Point misses you too. The views are amazing, aren't they! Easy how I can forget that. When should we run together?

LOVE IT!!! I love where you live too!! i remember when I found out we would be moving, I went on a lot of runs with no plan other than to run my favorite routes and soak in the beauty. I knew I would miss it and I didn't want to take a single step or site for granted. So glad I did that because now I can close my eyes and picture it so clear...

And I love the headband as well.

Love the great Northwest too!! A little further south than you - but LOVE it. Anyway - i have been on the search for earbuds for years!! Had been wearing the headband kind and my husband loved to make fun of me for my "80's" headphones. Found some though - Sarah Shea told me about them - http://www.yurbuds.com/
Love them. I got them at Fitright Northwest in Portland if you are near our stomping ground anytime soon!
